Sudah besar

Aisy da besar.
Da nak masuk 4 tahun awal bulan 11 ni.
Da masuk skola…dan dah boleh mengaji(Al furqan le bukan al quran lagi :))

So now, maybe we kept saying to her that she dah besar, she keep telling her adik pule.
“Adik you stay home, you still small, I am big girl now.I go to school.You stay home”
Sian alesya termangu2 dia.

Dan mungkin dia rasa diri dia da besar, she’s no longer interested to watch Play House Disney.Instead her favorite channel now is Cartoon Network.
The negative side is cartoon networks shows very violent character and non academic value.I mean they don’t teach anything and some of the cartoon characters don’t even speak!

Contoh mcm katun tom and jerry, and some other cartoon.

So the kids just watch the cat being ketuk by the small mouse and the mouse being ketuk by the cat.
tah le to me very violent.
Pastu Garfield.Mmg la Garfield tu cute tapi pemalas.So nanti aisy belajar jadi pemalas dan jadi pembuli mcm Garfield.Garfield kan suka bulie Odie?

And now her favorite cartoon is Ben 10.
I was like…”excuse me kakak, this cartoon is for boys not girls.You should see princess cartoon”
Then she would reply “boy like ammar?”
Ammar is her 3 year old cousin.Well nasib baik die da boleh differentiate between girls and boys.

Ben10 tu lagi la cite merapik.Tekan jam tangan pastu boleh jadi superhero.Da le aisy ni amat mudah terpengaruh dgn Super heroes ni.
Siap aritu suruh aku beli jam so that she can transform into superhero(or was it superheroin) just like ben10!
Dan character katun ni asyik nak belasah org je….tau2 nanti aisy belajar dari katun tu pukul alesya pule kan?

Lepas tu tah le…horror gak le bila ada 1 aritu aku ikut tgk aisy tgk sume katun dlm cartoon network tu..Totally inappropriate for kids her age.Not even for older kids.

So kalau aku kata katun tu tak bagus dia akan buka Disney channel.

Disney channel ok le skit tapi Disney channel byk teenage series cam Hannah Montana and series like that(I cant remember ok all the series).
So dia tak suka sgt.So next channel is 612.Channel ape ni?aku pun tak ingat.Nickelodeon?

Channel ini kalau weekdays aku tgk ok la…kalau start dari kul 8 pagi sampai kul 12 pm,katun die acceptable lagi le…educational and not that violent.Series like dora the explorer, diago, ni hao kai lan(ajar ckp cina ni…ok la juge kan?New things), team umizoomi(oh this is alesya’s fav.Used to be aisy’s before ben10 le kan).

Tapi lepas kul 12pm, cite pun merapik2 gak le.

Tah le…so my last resort to lock the channel.

So now I locked channel 616 and she can no longer watch all the ridiculous cartoon.Aku nak lock juga 615 and 612, tapi pikir balik tape le at least 612 ada juga la educational series dlm tu.So let her enjoy bits of that freedom to change channel between 612, 613 and 615.

Lama gak aisy da tak tgk Play house Disney.
Tapi since aku lock Cartoon network, she now back to Play House Disney.
Masa aku lock tu, bising juga la die.Sbb dia da pandai tukar channel.
So bila die tekan guide tu dan nampak lock kat tepi channel 616, dia bising le kat aku.
“Mak you did it!See you lock it!”

Aku pun tatau camne die tau aku lock channel.Maybe dia nampak icon lock tu kat tepi channel tu masa buka guide kot hehehehe.

Budak Zaman sekarang…

Anyway I really hope aisy tak terpengaruh dgn katun2 merapik2 ni.
And I need to pantau her kartun from time to time.
Tapi dia tau aku tak suka dia tgk katun merapik2 tu...;)
Tapi kadang2 dia saje je…buka katun2 merapik tu....biasa la…budak....then she will always smile kalau aku malas nak bising2 suruh dia tukar channel.

Seriously, we need to have high tolerance and patience to handle these children kan?
