Our Chronicles: Genting

Remember my post here?
yes so we went to genting highland on 30/1/11.Well basically to celebrate aspa's birthday and also our anniversary.
Aspa's sister came along.Aspa had promised her to bawa her jalan2 when she got back from Brisbane for her short holiday.The initial plan was to any pulau...but at the end, plan tak jadi and aspa ajak her to go with us to genting :)
We arrived at First World Hotel around 9.30am and amazingly we were allowed to check in!
Perhaps the rooms were available and we could immediately checked in.Alhamdullillah.
On that day, it was raining heavily and to our dismay the outdoor theme park was closed for the day. And we already bought those tickets online!
And I asked the counter girl what are the options available since we had bought the tickets?She said we can change it to Indoor theme park but the price difference will not be refunded.
Aku kinda bengang le...sbb the difference was around RM11 each..so around RM33 le kami rugi.
And the girl said for the past 5 days mmg outdoor theme park tutup.
Aku lagi le bengang.
Kalau mmg da tau camtu, why don't they inform that in their website.At least people like us would not purchase the tickets and we can make some other plans kan?

Tapi dari rugi tak masuk langsung at least we get to go for Indoor theme park ride.
And remember I told you about birthday boy will get complimentary Outdoor ticket on their birthday?Well when I asked about the promo, the girl said it is only valid for Outdoor theme park and not Indoor.So Aspa didn't get his free rides.Tension aku.Walhal we came there specifically on that day because we wanted Aspa to get his free ride on his birthday.
Oh well, tade rezeki le tu huhu.
So here are some pics from genting.

Alesya and aisy at the lobi.Mcm kat kaunter pejabat kerajaan.Banyak betul kerusi2 dan siap kena ambil nombor giliran lagi sebelum boleh check in.Ramai sgt kot org nak check in hehe.Mana taknya, i think first world hotel has more than 1000 rooms kot(ada dlm website dia.U try check it out).So no wonder le byk seats dia sediakan for their customers.Siap kena amik nombor lagi hehe.Mcm tunggu giliran nak buat passport.:D

So here is aisy on the way to our room.We booked for standard room only and the room looks new and clean.Though a bit kici le.They didn't have wardrobe, kettle, mini fridge and only 14inch TV.But overall the room was ok.They have water dispenser at the hall for hot and cold water.

after checked in and put our bags in the room, we went for the theme park.Nak pi theme park pun sesat.Punya le besar first world hotel ni.Siap ada 4 levels kot.Mcm da jadi shopping complex.Mcm midveli.

aisy and alesya tgh beratur nak naik ride.Berebut2 juge le budak2 ni nak naik ride hehe.Siap ada yg kiasu2 tu boleh potong2 line.Mmg dorang ni dari kecil kot mak bapak dorang ni da ajar kekiasuan.

the only gambar 4 of us.Ini dekat ulat nak ukur tinggi budak2.Budak2 below 90cm can have FREE rides.Unfortunately, though alesya is small, she is over 90cm huhu.

Reindeer ride.Aku pula gayat naik benda ini hehe sbb tinggi sgt.Though it moves really slow sampai last2 aisy and alesya kebosanan.And yet dorang naik ride ni more than once :D

Venice gondola ride.Kat belakang tu patung je bukan org betul ok.Hehe.1 bot tu kami naik bertiga je.Aku nak join dgn ada 1 famili ni ..a family of 5(3 small children) tapi akak counter tu bagi.Sbb dia kata the most 6 ppl.Tapi bebudak kici je which i guess not more than 15 kg each.At least cepat skit le org lain nak naik bot tu kan?Siap ada org tu naik 2 org je dlm bot tu.Tak effisien btul

Rio float.Kami dpt naik the big blue whale :D

Time makan at kenny rogers.As usual, the menu would be mac n cheese for both of the children.And yeh ice cream for aisy :)

The best ride.Bumper car!Aisy and alesya love it very much.Kami siap amik video tgk aisy drive the car hehe.

the next day we went to highland hotel naik shuttle sbb aspa teringin nak makan mamak kat highland hotel tu.Masa dolu2 kami datang genting, gi malam2 and selalu lepak kat situ.Ye le kat situ je time tu masih buka lagi dan makanan murah hehe.So aspa teringat dan dia nak pi makan kat situ balik.

at highland hotel.The decoration for CNY was extensive and elaborate.
HIghland hotel ini sebenarnya connected to first world hotel.So we decided to walk back to our hotel as we wanted to see the deco and also the retail shops available in the hotel.Tapi camne tah kami pusing2 last2 sampai kat logi highland hotel balik.Last2 kami balik first world hotel naik shuttle bas tadi hehe.
