Phuket Mac 2012

Ha finally!Dapat jua I upload the Phuket Picture.Not much though but enough memories :)

This is Aisy,on the way nak naik kapal terbang..:).We got the earliest flight...i think 6.30am kot..:D.Hence the dark background.

At Phuket Airport

Ok this is at our first hotel at Kamala Beach.Lupa la the hotel's name.But it was quite far from the beach.Not a walking distance but since we rented a car, that didn't become an issue :)

the hotel was so small and as you can see in the above picture, this is actually the lobby.Not many staff and we had to wait for quite sometime before someone came to the lobby.But the place was quite clean.

Ok this is still in the lobby.The lobby is like a room.And above is one of the furniture in the lobby

So here is the room.Clean and we had King size bed which great for 4 of us.Tido without much stir.Tilam pun empuk :D

Ok the turn off of this room is the toilet. Stinky big time!We requested for a change but didn't get it.At the end of our stay, Aspa requested for discount and alhamdullilah we got it!Aspa's principle "if you don't ask, you don't get it.The worst thing you can get is a No" heh.

Ok we stayed a night at Kamala beach which is a great place if you want a quiet and calm place.This place is not as happening as Patong and we love it!though i must say it is quite hard to find muslim food in Phuket as a whole though some said that Kamala Beach is mainly populated by muslims but it is quite hard to get Halal food.Kami agak was2 le nak makan.

Ok this is the first kedai makan we went and to tell you the truth the meal was terbaik!!nasi dia mmg sedap.Cost us around 200 baht which is around RM20.

guess how much?Less than RM5 shj..for 6 big bottle!1.5litre!Murah banget :D

Ok this is Kamala beach.you have to pay RM10 rasanya to duduk atas kerusi putih tu.Aspa memula ingat free heh

Ok this is on the way to Phuket city.The next 2 days we stayed at Phuket city which was very much cheaper compared to hotels at Patong or Kamala beach.Less than RM70 boleh dpt.Ok above pic is Patong beach and you can see all the mat salleh berjemuran.tapi tahap kepanasan mmg da rasa sampai 100% rasanya..hehe..ok tipu la...tapi panas to the max...tak faham aku camne le dorang leh tahan berjemur tgh2 panas cam gitu.

hehe how we know that this kedai is halal?well for one, there's halal sign..and also there's flags of muslim countries...ehheheh.and yeh it was just at the entrance of a Masjid.

Oh did I mention that communication was a bit tough at Phuket?though it is known as a tourist place, but most of them do not speak english.Not even basic english.Not even staff at 3-4 star hotel able to speak in decent or even basic english.So we found it quite challenging when it comes to requesting or asking for something.Seriously macam ayam dan itik.nak dijadikan cite kat kedai atas ni..punya la aku dan aspa ckp english dan siap buat sign language...last2 tau apa waitress tu ckp?"kak boleh ckp bahasa malaysia tak?" ahahahhaha aku dgn aspa punye la gelak big time!org mesia rupanya...awat la hang tak habaq awal2??org padang besar rupanya.Alhamdullillah senang kami nak ckp apa yg kami nak makan for that day :D

oh did i tell you that Aspa faham la skit2 bahasa thai ni?masa pi kedai makan yg first tu...punye la kami ckp siap dgn sign language dorang tak faham...last2 org tu ckp something in thai and direct translation dia ialah "menatang apa la pulak dorang ckp ni" and aspa understood that and aspa bantai gelak.Aku yg tgh kalut2 nak ckp nak order makan apa..pelik ...awat la aspa ni tetiba gelak ni.Tapi lepas Aspa cite...aku pun bantai gelak juge le ehehhehe.

ok can you see the "no alcohol" sign?Aisy pun tanya la.."what the sign says, mak?"so aku ckp le no alcohol.pastu dia tanye, no alcohol tu apa?so.......aku pun ckp...something that you cannot drink....and then no further questions came from her...heh though i should have elaborated more and put more emphasize on that muslims are not allowed to drink alcohol just like we are not allowed to touch thedog with wet hands.Oh well, hopefully i will get the chance again to explain it to her later.

ok ni kat patong beach.Tgk dari gambar pun kita da tau the sun was scorching like mad.And yet those org putih happily berjemur di tgh2 pantai tu :D

ok this is at our next hotel room, i pavilion at Phuket City.The room was large and clean.Cost us RM65 per night..murah kan?:D

ok this is phuket city.kami cari makan dkt ngan Robinson..situ ada 1 kedai makan halal yg amat sedap.Cost us aroudn RM25-30 per meal.Rasa mcm mahal skit...tapi puas hati le makanan dia.How did we know it was halal restaurant?sbb ada flag Malaysia...ehehhehehe.Ok..tapi mmg muslim le the owner of the restaurant.

One of the criterias we looked for our hotel was, there MUST be a pool.For the convenience of the ikan duyung2 kami :D

Hotel ni tade children pool, so dorang mandi je le dlm adult pool.Aisy berenang sendiri...tapi with the help of pelampung le....hehehe

oh yeh ...savvy in thai..:D

At Phuket Airport.We had to wait nearly 3 hours at the airport.Fuh!

Nasib baik le ada bawa buku aktiviti utk budak2.kalau idak...3 jam tunggu...tatau le nak buat apa..:D

all in all, the trip was ok.yg tak best...sbb panas sgt.But the children enjoyed the trip as well..Tatau le camne nak pi vietnam ni...dorang kata vietnam lagi panas!
huhu...we'll see about that.
