Aisy's first school

We are now seriously looking for aisy’s school because aisy wanted to enroll to any school badly. She even bought her school bag(tapi skola belum confirm pun nak masuk yg mana hehe)

But the quest is really confusing as the choices are abundance!
What kind of teaching, what system, the school hours, the fees(this is actually the main thing we are looking for hehe) and some other points we need to look into.

Well our basic criteria is a school that does not have any ridiculous upfront fees(some of the kindergarten is charging us nearly RM1k for the registration which I understand includes everything i.e the uniform, books, activities and etc but we personally don’t think it’s going to worth our money if we enrolled aisy in the middle of the year.Rugi le kan!).
Gile kan?nak masuk tadika pun mengalahkan nak masuk university. So I wonder by the time Aisy nak masuk university nanti agak2 bape la registration fees?huhu

Anyway, the other criteria is near to our house so that transportation won’t be an issue.
We are also looking into the school hours.
And of course the final thing is the monthly fees.

Oh yeh and penting no homework for Aisy hehe

So after so much googling and asking around, we are considering Vital Years in Bandar baru klang for Aisy first school. But this is not confirmed yet as we haven’t been to the place to see how the school would be like.

We settled for vital years as we have heard a lot of good things about it.
It can also develop your child self confidence.
The good thing about this school, they have weekends classes. So transportation won’t be an issue as we can personally send and fetch her from the school. The weekend class will only be 2 hours. So we can hantar aisy and go shopping at nearby mall and get her back when the class ends 2 hours later.

The most important thing is they do not have ridiculous registration fees.Only RM30 for registration and RM30 for books. However, they need a month advance fees when register. This fee can be used at her final month in Vital years but we need to inform the admin a month before so they can make certain arrangement.
So the total fees I need to pay is around RM360 which include the monthly fee for the 1st month.

The monthly fee is RM150.
So by paying RM150 I am expccting aisy to go to her class every Saturday and spend 2 hours there for each class.

Hmm quite pricey for 8 hours class kan?
But I think it’s going to help aisy to read and communicate with other as well.
But I am sure the class will be filled with Chinese children.

Hopefully, aisy tak jadi kiasu bila da mix dgn dorang heh.

Anyway, I prefer this kind of fee because as you know our house in semenyih is under construction and expected to complete end of this year. But officially stated in the agreement the house should be completed latest in August 2011.So we are expecting the worse and maybe we can only move to Semenyih middle of next year which is not convenient for us also to pay RM1k for registration for Aisy school early next year.

So I think Vital Years is the best choice for us yg duduk tak menentu lagi ini hehe.

Anyway I am sure there’s a lot of other great school out there but we settled with Vital years as we can afford the fees and also the place is convenient for us.Well near to our house kan.

So lepas ini tak boleh nak gi jln mana2 sesuka hati le sbb aisy da nak start sekolah.
Kena gi bercuti time cuti sekola juge le huhu.

Next Saturday we are going to Vital Years to have a look at the place. And if it’s ok, then we going to start the class next month, June.
I am sure Aisy going to be very excited hehe sbb mak die pun da excited :D
