Off late I keep receiving the word “shieh shiesh mak” instead of her usual “Thanks mak” or “Ni hao mak” instead of “hello mak”I dunno what influenced her. It’s either the kids in school or the cartoon series in Nicklodeon “Ni hao Kai lan”.In that cartoon series a girl named Kailan ajar noun or verb or basically words in chinese.
So either way, my kid is speaking Chinese.
She even said with Chinese slang huhu.
I just hope she does not get any bits of the kiasuness too.
Just yet.
But I think not for long.
Or should I change her school and her TV programme?
Hmmm
